History of Qwan Ki Do Development in the country
Of course, it is impossible to summarize in a few lines the effort and work of the Swiss Union of Qwan Ki Do (SUQKD), but the results are there: We have second generation teachers who carry the message of the founder of the Qwan Ki Do, Master Pham Xuan Tong, in each club, and the Swiss demonstration team have successfully participated in numerous martial arts events – always with their technical director Giam Su Nazzareno Caretti, who has never stopped to disseminate the method of his master during these years.
1st of February 1986 was the date when the Swiss Association of Qwan Ki Do started to establish contact with the world Qwan Ki Do organization at the time. After the first seminar of Master Pham Xuan Tong, which took place in Davos on 24/25 October 1987, the Swiss Union of Qwan Ki Do was founded.

Activity in the country
After more than 26 years, the S.U.Q. K.D. organized the 10th European Championship with great success on 25-26 October. From Wettingen to Zurich, a big challenge was for the S.U. Q.K.D. to organize the 5th European Championship for children and juniors on April 27-28, 2019.
With inevitable ups and downs so that the Swiss Union of Qwan Ki Do is always a well-united association, which helps to spread the art with which we have all fallen in love, fills us with pride.
The SUOQKD currently consists of 11 clubs and an academy spread over 5 cantons.
