History of Qwan Ki Do Development in the country
The first school of Qwan Ki Do was opened in Brazil in 1989, in Santo André – São Paul by Evandro Crestani and now is represented in 7 (seven) states of Brazil, including: São Paulo, Goías, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Alagoas and Amapá.

Minh Su Evandro was born in 1970, started in martial arts in 1980 in the practice of Kung Fu where he attained the instructor diploma and started to practice Qwan Ki Do in 1985. He opened his first academy of Qwan Ki Do in 1989 in Santo André – São Paul. During these 40 years in the practice of martial arts, he participated in various events, festivals and conferences where he received several distinctions for his services to the development of martial arts in Brazil.

Qwankido is currently represented in 7 (seven) states of Brazil, including: São Paulo, Goías, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Alagoas and Amapá.
There are more than 120 practitioners of Qwan Ki Do including 55 black belts.
Previous results in competitions
Brazil has participated in 3 world championships, its best ranking in the sixth world in Belgium, 5th place in the women’s category (Tao Quyen) with Pasquale’s Huan Su Rita Kwiek.
